In my opinion, traveling on your own or independently is much better than joining a tour in a group as you can decide by yourself where to go and how long to stay there. You also don't have to deal with the argument with the ladies who usually act as if they are the one who can decide where to go and stop by. Moreover, you can explore the things that suit your interest, experience it for your own advantage and get more friends from the native as you are their only foreign friend, you needn't share with others in a group for the native people's attention.
